It thrives in sunny or part-shade spots and flowers in generous flushes through the season. Its bushy, upright habit makes it perfect for beds, borders, or containers. How to care for Duchess of Cornwal Rose
Aspect
The Duchess of Cornwall rose thrives in sunny conditions but can do well in part shade as long as it receives at least 4 hours of sunshine per day.

Care Level
Deadhead regularly, this rose is an excellent repeat flowerer. Prune in late winter or early spring, removing any dead, damaged or weak-looking stems.

Watering
This rose needs lots of water when establishing.

Feeding
Plant with a high quality, peat-free compost. Use a rose feed in early spring and again mid summer to encourage flowering.

Soil
Duchess of Cornwall rose doesn't like to sit in soggy soil, don't let it become waterlogged. Ensure good drainage by using potting grit when planting.
