Boston Ferns (Nephrolepis exaltata), are known for their delicate, feathery fronds that arch gracefully, giving the plant an elegant appearance. The fronds are made up of small leaflets, and the overall plant has a lush and bushy growth habit. At Soto we love the Boston fern in our indoor pot kits or in a pot on a sideboard for interesting texture.
Top Tip
Regularly mist the fern with water to increase the humidity around it. Aim to mist the leaves without soaking them completely.
How to care for Boston Fern

Aspect
Boston Ferns prefer bright, indirect light. While they can tolerate some shade, avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as it can scorch their delicate fronds.

Care Level
Keep them away from drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.

Watering
Water when the top inch of the soil feels slightly dry.

Feeding
Feed once a month during the spring and summer, reduce frequency the rest of the year.

Humidity
Boston Ferns appreciate high humidity. Regular misting can help create a more humid environment.
