Acer Emerald Lace is a beautiful Japanese maple with finely cut, bright green leaves that give it a soft, feathery look. Its gently weeping branches form a graceful dome shape, making it a lovely focal point in a border, courtyard or large pot. In autumn the leaves turn rich shades of red and orange, bringing warm colour to the garden as the season changes. It is slow growing, so it will stay in proportion with smaller spaces for many years.

Plant your acer in a sheltered spot, away from strong winds and hot afternoon sun. Its delicate leaves can scorch in exposed positions, and a little shelter keeps them looking their best all summer.
