Key information
Amelanchier lamarckii opens the year with clouds of starry white blossom set against soft, copper toned new leaves. Small purple berries follow in early summer, loved by garden birds, before the foliage turns a rich orange and red in autumn. Its light, airy canopy makes it an elegant focal point in a smaller garden, casting dappled shade rather than blocking the view.
