Key information

The Compassion Rose Climber is a soft apricot pink rose that brings gentle colour and scent to sunny walls, arches, and pergolas. This strong and reliable climbing rose produces full, elegant blooms with a rich, sweet fragrance.

At Soto, we love Compassion for its steady growth and its long season of repeat flowers. The large, open blooms draw in bees and other pollinators. This makes the Compassion Rose Climber a beautiful, fragrant, and wildlife-friendly choice for any bright and sunny garden.

Easy

Deadhead regularly, Compassion is an excellent repeat flowerer. Prune in late winter or early spring, removing any dead, damaged or weak-looking stems. Train stems horizontally along a support to encourage more flower-bearing shoots and fuller coverage.

Regularly

Compassion needs lots of water when establishing.

Feeding
Compost & Rose Feed

Plant with a high quality, peat-free compost. Use a rose feed in early spring and again mid summer to encourage flowering.

Compassion doesn't like to sit in soggy soil, don't let it become waterlogged. Ensure good drainage by using potting grit when planting.
