Key information

Malus Evereste is a crab apple tree with interest in every season. In spring, deep pink buds open to clouds of white blossom, much loved by bees. By late summer the branches are heavy with small, glossy fruits that ripen from gold to rich orange red and often hang on well into winter, bringing colour when the rest of the garden is resting. The leaves turn a soft butter yellow in autumn, and its multistem form gives a relaxed, natural shape that sits beautifully in a border, a lawn or a courtyard garden.
