Madame Alfred Carriere Rose - Climber
The Madame Alfred Carrière rose is a vigorous climbing rose with creamy white, blush-pink blooms and a strong, sweet fragrance. Ideal for walls, arches, or pergolas, it thrives in sunny or part-shade spots but can also perform in shadier positions and is nearly thornless. This repeat-flowering climber blooms early and continues into late autumn, adding height, scent, and elegance to any garden.

Top Tip
Train new shoots sideways along supports to encourage more flowering stems and fuller coverage on walls or arches.
How to care for Madame Alfred Carrière Rose – Climber
Aspect
The Madame Alfred Carriere rose thrives in sunny and part shade. It is a shade tolerant rose but its final height may be reduced. For best performance position in a spot with at least 4 hours of sunlight.

Care Level
Deadhead regularly, this rose is an excellent repeat flowerer. Prune in late winter or early spring, removing any dead, damaged or weak-looking stems.

Watering
This rose needs lots of water when establishing.

Feeding
Plant with a high quality, peat-free compost. Use a rose feed in early spring and again mid summer to encourage flowering.

Soil
Madame Alfred Carrière Rose doesn't like to sit in soggy soil, don't let it become waterlogged. Ensure good drainage by using potting grit when planting.
