The Sweet Box provides fragrant and visual interest in winter. It has glossy green leaves with sweet smelling, small white flowers which are followed by black berries. Well received by bees and other wildlife at that time of year.
Spring deliveries will commence the week beginning 18th March. A member of the Soto team will be in touch to confirm your delivery date.
Position close to your door to enjoy the sweet smelling flowers throughout winter.
How to care for Sweet Box
Sweet box is happy in shade and can tolerate most partial conditions if required.
This is a low maintenance plant.
Water Sweet Box regularly in the first year but it is drought tolerant once established.
Use a good quality, peat free compost when planting and add to soil once a year in spring to provide added nutrients.
Ensure soil is well drained. It doesn't like soggy roots. When planting add a drainage medium, such as grit or crocs, to encourage better drainage.
