How to care for Wisteria

Aspect
Sun and Partial
Likes to be in a sunny spot or partial shade.

Care Level
Moderate
Prune Wisteria twice a year, in February and June, to maintain its shape and increase the number of flowers. This plant does take its time to establish.

Watering
Regularly
Water frequently when the Wisteria is settling into its new home, but don't let it get soggy.

Feeding
Compost
Plant with a good quality, peat free compost. Wisteria requires nutrient rich soil so feed to encourage flowering.

Soil
Happy in most soils
Will adapt to its conditions but needs soil with good drainage. When planting add a medium, such as grit or crocs, to encourage better drainage.
