Will's styling notes
Will Williams brings his vibrant and fresh design aesthetic along with his horticultural expertise to Soto. He was the youngest ever RHS Young Designer of the Year and has gone on to win several RHS medals at major UK garden shows. Below he explains the thinking behind the collection.
With plants that are happy in a sunny aspect, this collection features plants that have been given the seal of approval from Head Vet at Tails.com and gardening enthusiast, Sean McCormack.
Moody Astrantia Burgundy Manor and striking Salvia Caradonna bring a richness to the Soto Pet Collection. Texture and fizz comes from the Purple Moor and Quaking Grass. The palate is cleansed with Penstemon Royal White and Geranium White-Ness. This scheme is anchored by Pittosporum ‘Golf Ball’ which brings evergreen structure.
Light bounces through this collection thanks to the use of ornamental grasses combined with the pretty white florals, balancing the rich texture of the purple hues, the effect is almost dusky. This combination harmonises to create a contemporary, pet safe planting scheme which is very design focused.
Due to border size restrictions, some plants do not feature in every border. Please refer to the 'What's included' for specific plant listings.
